Rule #1: Don't break your own rules!
This seems like a fairly simple thing, right? In theory it is, but this week I did just that, broke one of my own rules. This sounds really stupid, but one of my rules is to always clean out my pockets before doing laundry. Really, this should be a rule for everyone, but it is one of mine b/c I almost always carry chapstick on me. If you've never washed your clothes with chapstick in your pockets let me tell you that it stains your clothes badly, espcially if you do not catch it and proceed to dry your clothes. Several of my Tee-shirts now look like I/someoneelse jeezed all over them, not cool. at. all.

More boring news:
I made some bad ass pesto the other night. For some retarded reason I felt like orange would bring an interesting addition to the flavor of pesto, and I was right. If you've ever made pesto, just drop two tablespoons of some orange concentrate, and the zest of one orange in the processor and see what you think. I liked it, but then again, I'm fat.

Today was also the first race of the Georgia cyclocross series , which I was pretty amped to do. So amped in fact that I thought racing it sick would be a great idea. No conjestion, just some cold sweats that has post race been diagnosed as a flu. SWEET. Anyways, I decided to do the race, I'd blocked out the fact that I was sick so I wouldn't psych myself out, I could breath so I figured I could go hard.
I ended up riding around in circles, two laps in the chills set in and I started to freeze. It was a great sensation. I continued to ride was the fact I knew I would accumulate a few points by simply finishing, which I did.
As I write this, I'm sweating really badly, maybe this will be over in the next day or two. Lets hope so.
Back to the series. Check out the site, they are doing some cool stuff. This year they are letting juniors race for free! That's right, u19 is free. How cool is that?
